2022 Week Thirteen Recap

Currently battling a sickness right now, so shoutout to me for powering through and finding a way to get this done. It wasn't easy but I made a commitment and I refuse to let the people down. A heroic effort at minimum. This playoff race is as close as it can get for the final four spots. Jared and Nathan are both locked in but six other teams still have a chance.

I'll be honest, I tried. I really did, but quickly got exhausted trying to figure out the exact scenarios for each team. Y'all know what you need though.

Pretty much win-and-in for the current teams in the top 6. The outsiders looking in will need them to lose and then catch up on the points-for category.

WEEK 13 PAYOUT WINNER - RIGHT ON THE MONEY

Ryan, 1.23pts off proj.

Another year, another winner inside of 2pts. Just happy to see someone else win other than Jared and Spencer. Ryan's 124.18pts was enough to stave off the Commish in a hard-fought battle to keep his playoff hopes alive.

START OF THE WEEK

Jere, Zonovan Knight - 16.80pts

I can't be the only one, but I literally have never heard of this guy until I was searching for the start of the week. Apparently, he had a decent game in week 12 and then backed it up with a nice game last week. I think I can safely assume this guy was a practice squad player until all their other RBs got injured. Wild to see who can thrive in this Jets offense when Zach Wilson isn't holding them back.

BLUNDER OF THE WEEK

Commish's Season

Hand up, no excuses. It was a disappointing year for a team with high expectations. I could sit here and blame it on injuries, another first-round dud (6 years straight), the fact that I have the most points scored against me, or that I'm in the tougher division year after year. I won't do that though. Excuses are like assholes, everyone has one and they stink. I'll take it on the chin and be prepared to come back next September with a new game plan. Only 9 months away, no big deal.

GAME-CHANGING PLAY OF THE WEEK

Christian Watson TD

Christian Watson continues his epic run of games, four straight weeks of 20+ points with seven touchdowns. Despite Probst losing Lamar Jackson early, Watson alongside a couple other players helped power him to a much-needed win to stay in the playoff race. Sneaky contender? We will have to see.

MATCH-UP FOR WEEK 14

Probst (7-6) vs Jere (6-7)

It's win-and-in for Probst but half his team are Packers players and they happen to be on a bye this week. Jere is fighting for his playoff life but knows it is out of his hands. As soon as Kupp went down, the trajectory of his whole season changed, losing three of the last four.

Back-to-back 5-0 weeks. Feeling it boys! 36-24 now. 14-1 over the last three weeks. Can we go for the three-peat?

WEEK 14 WEEKLY PAYOUT

Photo Finish - Team that beats its opponent by the smallest margin of victory

Last payout chance. This is it, season finale. Good luck to everyone this week, except you Worzie. You may already have your spot practically locked up, but if I can somehow make that 1% come to fruition, I am going to do my damn best. Bolt up.
