2025 Week Eleven Recap

Well, two outcomes occurred after week 11 that have never happened in league history before. First, the Commish officially clinched a Division Title and bye week three weeks before the end of the regular season, which just happens to be the earliest in league history - although we all knew this by week 6. Secondly, all five teams from a single division currently hold a playoff spot. Realistically, it won't stay this way because most of the South teams will have to play each other in week 13 & 14, cannibalizing their records. Nevertheless, an impressive feat by the North to be an absolute shit show this year.

Last week was a weird weekend of football for fantasy players. And now that I think about it, another first for the League. We had three starting QBs finish with negative points, and outside of Josh Allen, no one else really had a great game. In total, the 10 starting QBs scored a combined total of 106pts, take out Allen and the other nine combined for 62pts, an average of 6.89pts.

Alright, let's go.

WEEK 11 PAYOUT WINNER Touchdown Jerry Rice! - The team with the most offensive touchdowns scored

Commish, 10 Touchdowns

Commish takes home his third payout of the year, a great feeling if I am being honest. I can read the room; none of you are interested in reading about me writing about myself and how fucking awesome my team is, so I'll end it there and save it for the champions' speech.

START OF THE WEEK

There Isn't One

I hate it, I really do. But there are no free handouts here. No one deserved it this week. I sat here and looked at every matchup, but all I could find were blunders and no-shows. Feel free to make a case if you think a player of yours deserved it, but the only players who played well were the ones who are supposed to be in the starting lineups. Plenty of bench points out there that people missed - stop being so chalky with your weekly lineup.

BLUNDER OF THE WEEK

Nathan's Unprecedented Falloff

It wasn't long ago that Nathan was coming off a week 6 victory, sitting at 9-3 on the season after winning two straight titles. What has happened since then has been one of the hardest falls in league history. Five straight losses, not once scoring over 125 points, now sitting with a 10-12 record and at the bottom of the South. Sure, he is still in playoff contention due to the North being incompetent, but I'm not sure he ends up making the cut after week 14 comes around.

GAME-CHANGING PLAYS OF THE WEEK

TreVeyon Henderson

The breakout is here. Henderson has reached the endzone five times over the last two weeks after taking over the starting role in New England. While no exciting single play made the difference in Ryan's matchup, a collection of three touchdowns and a total of 32.30pts helps Ryan continue his hot stretch, which now puts him in a position to capture a playoff spot. This is one team I really don't want to see in the playoffs in all honesty.

THE LEAGUE POWER RANKINGS

1) Goodell 2.0: Earliest anyone has locked up the Bye. Historic season.

2) (Still Vacant...)

3) Mile High Magic ▲4: 5-1 last six weeks after starting 0-5.

4) Me & Mahomies ▼1: 3 straight weeks under 115pts.

5) Aiyuken▲1: Going to get a free bye week somehow.

6) Meat Log▼2: 2-3 last 5 weeks, right in the mix.

7) Footsteps Falco ▲3: How is this guy not dead yet?

8) LBJ = GOAT ▼3: There won't be a three-peat.

9) PAC 2 Champion: Ass team still hanging around.

10) Romo's Reckoning & El Cap: Insert 'Romo laying on ground.jpg'

MATCH-UPS FOR WEEK 12

Spencer (10-12) vs. Ryan (11-11)

Cheeno (12-10) vs. Probst (11-11)

Jon (10-12) vs. Worzie (13-9)

Here. We. Go. Some (just me, actually) are already locked in, and some are already onto 2026. Enjoy your bye weeks, folks. But these three matchups will be key for those playoff bubble teams. It's all North vs South for the final time this year. The North will need to show up if it wants a chance to secure a couple of playoff teams

WEEK 12 WEEKLY PAYOUT

Over Achiever - Team with the most points over their weekly projection

Commish may just walk away with another one here, but if it isn't me, I am putting my money on both Probst and Ryan to have big weeks.

Good luck to everyone in week 12, except you, Jared. It's boring to me that both of our regular seasons are over. I am trying to spoil someone's chances of making the playoffs.
